Product Description

This product is suitable for use in immunohistochemistry for p16 and in situ hybridization for HPV 16/18 sub-types.

Three formalin fixed paraffin embedded cell lines. Two of which contain incorporated HPV 16 and 18 viral genes.

  • Cell line A: Human breast adenocarcinoma
  • Cell line B: Human cervical adenocarcinoma
  • Cell line C: Human epidermoid carcinoma

Cells are fixed in 10% neutral buffered formalin and paraffin wax embedded.

Sections are cut at 4μm, mounted on positively charged slides and baked overnight at 37°C. Cell microarrays (CMA) contain cores that are 1.5-2mm in diameter and 3-3.5mm in length. It is possible to obtain up to 400 sections depending on thickness and batch cutting.
