Product Description

This product is suitable for use in immunohistochemistry and in situ-hybridization to show that the assay is working correctly on specimens. Two formalin fixed paraffin embedded cell lines. One of which has an NPM-ALK translocation.

  • Cell line A: Breast adenocarcinoma (No translocation)
  • Cell line B: Anaplastic large cell lymphoma (Positive for NPM-ALK translocation)

Cells are fixed in 10% neutral buffered formalin and paraffin wax embedded.

Sections are cut at 4μm, mounted on positively charged slides and baked overnight at 37°C. Cell microarrays (CMA) contain cores that are 1.5-2mm in diameter and 3-3.5mm in length. It is possible to obtain up to 400 sections depending on thickness and batch cutting.
