This tissue-like pan melanoma qualitative IHC control is suitable for use in immunohistochemistry, and is optimized for use with MART-1/MLANA,
Melanosome (HMB45), SOX-10, S100, PRAME and BRAF V600E.
This pan melanoma control is comprised of two formalin fixed paraffin embedded cell lines:
- Cell line A: Colorectal adenocarcinoma
- Cell line B: Malignant melanoma
Cells are fixed in 10% neutral buffered formalin and paraffin wax embedded. Sections are cut at 4μm, mounted on positively charged slides and baked overnight at 37°C. Cell microarrays (CMA) contain cores that are 1.5-2mm in diameter and 3-3.5mm in length. It is possible to obtain up to 400 sections depending on thickness and batch cutting.
